Content Writer

An SEO content-writing skill that creates blog posts, landing pages, and content rewrites aligned with Google's E-E-A-T and Helpful Content guidance. Tasks

Write a new SEO-optimized blog post from a keyword or topic, including outline, hook-driven title, and FAQ section
Create a landing page (service, product, location, or comparison) with a defined conversion strategy and CTA plan
Audit and rewrite an existing page, producing a gap analysis (keep / add / remove) and a full replacement draft
Produce SEO metadata (title tag under 60 chars, meta description 120-160 chars, URL slug) and JSON-LD structured data for each deliverable
Plan a featured image plus at least 3 inline images, specifying role, placement, alt text, filename suggestion, and a detailed generation prompt for each

Inputs

Target keyword (required for new content)
Audience and site/brand context (value proposition, related pages for internal linking)
For content improvement: the existing page (URL via firecrawl/web or a file path) and the goal (rankings, conversion, or both)
Competitor information if web access is available (firecrawl, WebSearch, or browse)

Outputs

Full content in markdown with heading hierarchy, hook opening, and table of contents mirroring H2s (blog posts: minimum 1000 words)
SEO metadata: title tag under 60 chars, meta description 120-160 chars, URL slug, target and secondary keywords
Image plan: a featured/thumbnail image and at least 3 inline images, each with role, placement, alt text, filename suggestion, and a detailed generation prompt; generated assets only if an image-generation capability is available
JSON-LD structured data (Article/BlogPosting, Service/Product/LocalBusiness, FAQPage as applicable)
Internal linking plan (links to and from the page) and a publishing checklist
For content improvement: rewritten content as a full replacement plus a change summary tied to specific guideline violations

Limitations and checks

The referenced guidelines file (content-writing.md) may not be found; the skill prints a warning and continues
SERP analysis and competitor research require web access (firecrawl, WebSearch, or browse), which may not be available
Image generation depends on a host or connected-service capability; if unavailable, the skill provides prompts and labels the assets as missing rather than generating them
The skill does not perform the publishing itself; it delivers content, metadata, and a checklist
Installation documentation is not provided; only the source directory and SKILL.md file are available
Blog post: title carries an attention hook (number, contrarian claim, named audience, or curiosity gap), not just the keyword
Blog post: featured image and at least 3 inline images planned at meaningful points, with alt text and prompts; table of contents mirrors every H2; at least 1000 words; FAQ with 3-5 questions
