Capture and inspect rendered local websites from the devcontainer using Playwright and Chromium.
Tasks
Capture a full-page screenshot of a local website (e.g., http://localhost:8080) from the devcontainer
Inspect a saved screenshot image and provide a clickable file link to the user
Capture screenshots into a custom output directory by passing it as the second argument to the script
Inputs
Target website URL (e.g., http://localhost:8080)
Optional output directory as second script argument
Optional DEVCONTAINER_ID environment variable to override automatic container identification
Outputs
Full-page PNG saved to ./tmp/website-<UTC timestamp>.png by default, or to the specified output directory
Clickable file link to the saved image
Limitations and checks
Only capabilities documented in the source: no support claimed beyond local website capture via Playwright and Chromium
Confirm the script is run from the project root, outside the agent sandbox: bash .agents/skills/website-screenshot/scripts/capture.sh http://localhost:8080
Verify the PNG was saved to ./tmp/website-<UTC timestamp>.png or the specified output directory
Report timeouts promptly and provide a clickable file link to the saved image so the user can see the result
