Delegation mode for open-code-review (OCR). Instead of OCR calling an LLM endpoint, this skill instructs the host agent to perform the code review itself, using OCR only for deterministic engineering: file selection and rule resolution. Use when the host agent should drive the review with its own LLM capabilities.
Tasks
Run `ocr delegate preview` to get the reviewable file list, mode, and ref metadata
Run `ocr delegate rule <path1> <path2> ...` to fetch review rules grouped by content
Retrieve diffs using git commands appropriate for the detected mode (workspace, range, or commit)
Conduct a thorough review of each file using its diff and associated rule group checklist
Format findings into structured comments and group them by severity for reporting
Inputs
Reviewable file list with paths, status, and insertions or deletions
Mode information (workspace, range, or commit)
Ref metadata including from, to, commit, and merge_base
Excluded files with exclusion reasons
Review rules grouped by content
Business context provided via --background or --background-file
Outputs
Structured review comments containing path, content, optional start_line and end_line, optional category enum, and optional severity enum
Findings grouped by severity (Critical or High, Medium, Low)
Limitations and checks
Delegation mode never calls an LLM on the OCR side; all intelligence must come from the host agent
ocr delegate operates on the Git repo at the current directory unless overridden with --repo
Untracked files in workspace mode must be read directly instead of using git diff
Verify the ocr CLI is installed before starting the workflow
Ensure `ocr delegate preview` is run before `ocr delegate rule` so file paths are available
Confirm that untracked files identified in workspace mode are read directly rather than processed with git diff
Validate that each review comment includes the required path and content fields
Verify findings are classified and reported according to the specified severity grouping rules
