Gh Pr Review

gh-pr-review is a Cherry Studio review skill for local branches, pull requests, commits, files, architecture documents, and repository skills. It selects a local or reviewer-verifier flow based on review scope and available runtime capability, applies Cherry Studio-specific architecture and convention checks, and reports findings by default.

Tasks

Review uncommitted changes, a branch diff, commit, commit range, file or directory, or pull request for product impact, consumers, architecture, implementation, and style or convention issues.
Apply explicit project-specific review checks for DataApi and IpcApi boundaries, main/renderer/shared placement, lifecycle and service ownership, renderer hooks, React and UI conventions, type contracts, and relevant tests.
Report findings by default, or apply authorized local fixes and run the documented validation for the changed surface when the invocation explicitly requests fixes.
For pull requests, optionally submit confirmed findings only when submission is explicitly requested.

Inputs

A review target: omitted, a commit hash, a commit range, file or directory paths, a pull request number, or a pull request URL.
Optional explicit fix authorization for local targets.
Optional explicit submit authorization for pull request targets.
Runtime capability to launch an independent reviewer and a fresh independent verifier, when available.

Outputs

A review report containing findings and fix guidance.
A summary of product impact and points needing human confirmation for explicitly automated sessions when product semantics are affected.
Validation results after authorized fixes are applied.
Submitted confirmed findings for a pull request when explicit submission authorization is provided.

Limitations and checks

The default mode is report-only and does not edit the working tree or write to GitHub.
Commit and commit-range targets remain report-only even when a fix flag is supplied.
Large scopes use multi-agent review only when independent reviewer and verifier subagents are available; otherwise they use single-agent review with the limitation disclosed.
Automated sessions do not make product decisions on the user's behalf.
The skill does not run local lint, tests, or formatting when no files were edited.
Installation instructions and installation commands are not documented.
Check whether the change affects product semantics, user-visible behavior, or product direction before continuing with later review stages.
Check new or expanded shared surfaces for consumers using the consumer-review guidance.
