Marketing Ideas · Marketingskills

A starting-point skill for generating marketing ideas, inspiration, and strategies for SaaS or software products, drawing on a library of 139 ideas across 17 categories such as Content & SEO, Paid Ads, Partnerships, and Product-Led growth, with recommendations tailored to stage, budget, and timeline.

Tasks

Suggest 3-5 relevant marketing ideas based on the user's product, audience, stage, and resources
Provide implementation details for the chosen ideas, including how to start, expected outcome, and resources needed
Recommend ideas filtered by stage (pre-launch, early, growth, scale), budget level, or timeline when the user specifies one

Inputs

User's product, audience, and current stage (asked for if unclear)
Marketing budget, team size, and past marketing attempts
Optional product marketing context file such as .agents/product-marketing.md, .claude/product-marketing.md, or legacy product-marketing-context.md, if present

Outputs

For each recommended idea: idea name with one-line description, why it fits, first 2-3 implementation steps, expected outcome, and resources needed (time, budget, skills)

Limitations and checks

Provides strategy and idea recommendations only; specific channel execution is deferred to separate skills (ads, social, emails, etc.)
The SKILL.md contains a quick-reference table by category; full descriptions live in referenced files
Confirm the product, audience, and stage are understood before recommending ideas; ask the four task-specific questions if not
Verify each recommendation states why it fits the user's situation, how to start, expected outcome, and resources needed
Check whether a product marketing context file exists and use it before asking for information it already covers
Limit initial suggestions to 3-5 ideas tailored to the user's stage, budget, and resources
