Co Marketing · Marketingskills

A co-marketing strategy guide that helps SaaS companies identify and score potential partners, brainstorm joint campaigns, draft partner outreach, structure co-marketing agreements, and measure results.

Tasks

Identify and score potential co-marketing partners using the audience overlap analysis and 1-5 scoring criteria (audience fit, audience size, brand alignment, engagement quality, reciprocity potential, ease of execution)
Brainstorm joint campaign ideas with a specific partner using the campaign type tables and idea prompts (shared audience moments, combined value propositions, unique assets)
Draft cold outreach to a potential partner using the provided template and prepare materials for the kickoff call (overlap data, 2-3 campaign ideas, audience metrics, past partnership examples, clear ask)
Structure a co-marketing agreement covering campaign description, responsibilities, timeline, lead handling, promotion commitments, branding, costs, and metrics sharing
Define success metrics for a joint campaign covering quantitative measures (leads, lead quality, revenue attributed, audience growth, content engagement) and qualitative measures (collaboration ease, partner responsiveness, audience reception, brand lift, relationship strength)
Work through the co-marketing checklist covering partner identification, campaign planning, execution, and post-campaign debrief

Inputs

User answers to task-specific questions: partner search vs. campaign planning, co-marketing type of interest, audience size, existing integration partners, prior co-marketing experience, timeline and budget
Optional product marketing context from .agents/product-marketing.md, .claude/product-marketing.md, or the legacy product-marketing-context.md filename, if present

Outputs

Scored list of potential partners with 1-5 ratings on the six criteria
Brainstormed joint campaign ideas matched to campaign formats and effort levels
Cold outreach draft and call preparation checklist
Co-marketing agreement outline with responsibilities, lead handling, promotion commitments, and metrics
Success measurement plan with quantitative and qualitative metrics

Limitations and checks

The skill is guidance content; it does not execute any commands or automation
Account overlap analysis depends on external data sources such as Crossbeam or Reveal, which are not provided by the skill
Customer referral and affiliate program mechanics are routed to the separate referrals skill; launch-specific partnerships to the launch skill
Confirm the referenced file references/partnership-types.md exists in the installed skill directory before relying on the partnership taxonomy details
Verify that any partner overlap data actually available to the user (e.g., via Crossbeam/Reveal) is distinguished from assumptions when scoring partners
Ensure customer referral or affiliate-mechanics requests are routed to the referrals skill rather than handled here
Check that campaign plans include agreed lead-sharing arrangements and success metrics per the checklist
